Beep! Beep! Beep!

It’s 5am and I must stop working so I can squeeze a few hours of sleep in before I need to start working again.

Anyway I was about to go to sleep and I realized I was starving — so I ate (by order of consumption):

1 handful of Cheez-its

1 little cup of apple sauce

1 cup of Swiss Miss vanilla pudding

1 handful of Cheez-its

3 Pringles chips

1 Picante Beef cup of noodles

Anyway, while I was engaged in the second step of the two-step cup of noodles process (1. water 2. microwave) I noticed how obnoxiously loud the little beeps were every time I pushed a button (Beep! Beep! Beep!)— ok so why does it have to be that loud? Probably because its using the same interface as the finished cooking buzzer which needs to be loud lest you don’t hear it because you are in the other room or something. Yet why do they use the same interface?? Because its cheaper??? Then why isn’t there a volume setting???? Because it increases the complexity of the electronics. Ah ha! see the real answer is because most of these microwave manufacturers are lazy cheap bastards and as a result create microwaves that annoy me when I am cooking my damn cup of noodles @ 5am in the morning…uhhgg I need sleep….good night :)
