3 Laws Unsafe - Asimov’s Three Laws of Robotics & I, Robot
I believe the 3 laws to be relatively safe, to the extent in which they are implemented. Being a technologist/programmer/futurist I read the entire I, Robot series but never thought the rules to apply in an absolute sense. In fact, that’s mostly what the books were about — evolution of the positronic brain through the view of these ‘rules’ and the inherent subjectivity of it all — but then again, its a body of work written by a guy way ahead of his time. It was the world he invented. I enjoyed it (made me read the foundation series as well) and it has inspired me in many ways.
These 3 rules will be remembered for years to come.

Nonetheless, a group of individuals seriously discussing ‘rules’ for robots….makes me smile…its only a matter of time…just wait.
